Thank you to all who attended the opening reception of my gallery show last week. We had a great turnout and, thanks to Gregg Eligh, I have some photos to share from the event.

The show runs until the end of April, so make sure to visit the gallery before then!

Please join me at the opening of my new show The Floating World: New Photographic Works. The show features several different series I’ve been working on over the last two years, including some large double-exposures, landscapes and a series of images that pays homage to Japanese woodblock prints, using a combination of photographs and appropriated imagery. 

The prints are a mix of paper-based and transmounted, almost all limited edition and all signed. The pieces range in size from 36″ wide down to some 10″x10″ squares of market images, ideal for displaying in a kitchen.

Please stop by the opening reception on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 7-9pm at Dales Gallery. All welcome: please extend this invitation to friends, coworkers, etc.

The show runs from April 5 – May 1, so if you can’t make opening night, please pop into the gallery during the run – I’d love to hear your comments.

Hot on the heels of my recent exhibition at Dales Gallery, some of my work is now on display at Antonieta D’Introno’s studio/gallery, located at 532 1/2 Fisgard St., Unit 8 (in Dragon Alley) in Victoria. It’s a small but lovely space where Antonieta works and also sells hard-to-find books on design and architecture (yummy titles with gorgeous photography from Phaidon, Taschen, and other publishers) as well as an assortment of extras like business card holders and mechanical pencils.

My first solo show opens March 5 at Dales Gallery in downtown Victoria:

I’ve been putting together this show for the better part of a year – who knew it would be so hard to pick images to exhibit! You can find many of the images here on the site, as well as some I haven’t posted (yet). The prints range in size from smaller 7″x7″ up to just over 20″x13″.
